Inspiration： Inspired by Cave 275 of the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, this incense beads capture the serene vermilion glow that adorns the Buddhist niche as morning light filters through the cave. Against an earthen red base, the vivid vermilion stands out with solemn stillness and peaceful meditation. The creation began with a wish to craft beads for the Abbot. Though presiding over a grand royal‑style temple, he held only simple prayer beads,reminding us that a truly enlightened heart lies not in external luxury, but in inner purity. Blending the timeless colors of Dunhuang murals, the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine, and the ancient art of incense crafting, we perfected this piece after four revisions.
